Passport & Visa Info

The following details relate to holders of adult normal passports (requirements for children may be different), if any other type of passport or travel document is held, entry requirements should be checked with the relevant embassy or consulate

Passports

Required, but NOT by the following:
1) Nationals of Nepal holding proof of identity
2) Nationals of India holding a Voter's Identity Card issued by the Election Commission of India, or Identify Card with photograph issued by the Central or State Government of India

Passport Validity: Passports must be valid for 6 months

Visas

The following DO NOT require a visa:
1) Nationals of Nepal
2) Nationals of India

Notes: Srilankan pilgrims visiting Lumbini can obtain a visa on arrival for stays up to 15 days
