Passport & Visa Info

The following details relate to holders of adult normal passports (requirements for children may be different), if any other type of passport or travel document is held, entry requirements should be checked with the relevant embassy or consulate

Passports

Required, but NOT by the following:
1) Holders of Hong Kong Identity Card (HKIC) registered with one of the following codes: "R" or symbols "*" and "**" and holders of Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card or Hong Kong Re-entry Permit for a stay up to one year
2) Holders of travel documents issued by the authorities of the People's Republic of China

Passport Validity: Passports must be valid 30 days from date of entry

Visas

The following DO NOT require a visa:
1) Residents of Macao
2) For stays up to 1 year by holders of Hong Kong Identity Card, Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card or Hong Kong Re-entry Permit
3) For stays up to 6 months by nationals of United Kingdom
4) For stays up to 90 days by nationals of Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Rep, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary Iceland, Ireland Rep, Israel, Italy, Korea (South), Lebanon, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden & Tanzania
5) For stays up to 30 days by nationals of Australia, Brazil, Canada, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kiribati, Liechtenstein, Malaysia, Mexico, Monaco, Namibia, New Zealand, Philippines, Samoa, Seychelles, Singapore, South Africa, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, United States & Uruguay
6) For stays up to 30 days by nationals of China with valid Macao entry/departure documents, including residents of mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan & overseas Chinese
