Passport & Visa InfoThe following details relate to holders of adult normal passports (requirements for children may be different), if any other type of passport or travel document is held, entry requirements should be checked with the relevant embassy or consulate PassportsRequired, but NOT by the following: Passport Validity: 1) French passports held by nationals of Comoros are valid only if issued after 12 Apr 1976 VisasThe following DO NOT require a visa: Air TransitRequired by all except: Notes: A transit visa, valid for 3 days including day of arrival, is issued by French Consulates abroad prior to departure to persons in transit for more than 4 hours provided holding a valid documents for France plus onward or return tickets to leave France within 3 days. It is however advisable to obtain such visas prior to arrival Re-entry PermitsRequired by returning alien residents who would normally require an entry visa must hold a `visa de retour' Special NotesAll visitors must hold onward/return tickets, sufficient funds for length of stay & additional requirements as follows (except nationals of Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland Rep, Italy, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden & United Kingdom):a) For tourist visits holding documents showing tour arrangements & hotel reservations b) For family visits holding a lodging certificate signed by the relative to be visited indicating relationship, occupation, employer & undertaking to provide means of support & certificate of board & lodging issued by the local town hall of the relative's town of residence |
