Passport & Visa InfoThe following details relate to holders of adult normal passports (requirements for children may be different), if any other type of passport or travel document is held, entry requirements should be checked with the relevant embassy or consulate Restrictions: Entry & transit is refused to:
1) Holders of passports containing either a valid or expired visa for Israel or any Israeli stamp endorsed on passport
2) Palestinians of the self-ruled regions, unless they have an invitation visa from a Lebanese national at Beirut International Airport PassportsRequired, but NOT by the following: 1) Holders of National Identity Cards issued to nationals of Syria provided arriving from their home country 2) Holders of Laissez-Passer issued by the Lebanese authorities Passport Validity: 1) For tourist visits, where a visa is not required passports must be valid 3 months beyond intended length of stay 2) Where a visa is required passports must be valid for 1 month beyond the expiry date of the visa VisasThe following DO NOT require a visa: 1) Nationals of Lebanon 2) For stays up to 3 months by nationals of Syria holding valid ID cards and provided coming directly from Syria otherwise holding a valid passport 3) Foreign nationals of Lebanese descent provided holding a valid Lebanese ID card or Lebanese Civil Extract Notes: Visas will be issued on arrival to: 1) Citizens of Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland Rep, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Macao, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Moldova, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Panama, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Russia, San Marino, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, United States, Uzbekistan & Venezuela 2) Nationals of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia & United Arab Emirates 3) For stays up to 1 month by nationals of Cyprus provided holding passports valid for at least one year Air TransitRequired by all except: 1) Those continuing their journey to a third country on the same day, provided holding confirmed onward tickets & documents for next destination 2) There is no hotel accommodation at Beirut Airport & passengers are not permitted to stay overnight at the airport
