Passport & Visa Info

The following details relate to holders of adult normal passports (requirements for children may be different), if any other type of passport or travel document is held, entry requirements should be checked with the relevant embassy or consulate

Passports

Required, but NOT by the following:
1) Nationals of Ireland Rep
2) Persons born in United Kingdom travelling direct from United Kingdom
3) For tourist visits up to 3 months by holders of a Nationals Identity Card & Irish Visitor's Card issued to nationals of Belgium, France, Germany, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands & Switzerland

Passport Validity: Passports must be valid for 6 months

Visas

The following DO NOT require a visa:
1) Nationals of Ireland Rep
2) Nationals of United Kingdom & British Dependent Territories (Colonies)
3) Nationals of Andorra, Antigua & Barbuda, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bahamas, Barbados, Belgium, Belize, Bolivia, Botswana, Brazil, Brunei Darussalam, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Rep, Denmark, Dominica, El Salvador, Estonia, Fiji, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Grenada, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Hong Kong (S.A.R. passport holders), Hungary, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kiribati, Korea (South), Latvia, Lesotho, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malawi, Malaysia, Maldives, Malta, Mauritius, Mexico, Monaco, Nauru, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Poland, Portugal, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent & Grenadines, Samoa, San Marino, Seychelles, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Solomon Islands, South Africa, Spain, Swaziland, Sweden, Switzerland, Tonga, Trinidad & Tobago, Tuvalu, United States, Uruguay, Vanuatu Vatican City & Venezuela

Air Transit

Required by all except those as noted above and:
1) Persons continuing their journey to a third country by the same or first connecting aircraft within 24 hours without leaving the airport, provided holding confirmed onward tickets & documentation for their onward journey (except nationals of Afghanistan, Albania, Bulgaria, Congo Dem Rep, Cuba, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Ghana, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Moldova, Nigeria, Romania, Serbia & Montenegro, Somalia & Sri Lanka)
